they were able to pull out a 1-2 away win over Udinese last round. Mauro
Icardi’s 18th goal (from penalty spot) had given Inter Milan the lead
early in the second half, while Arsenal loanee Lukas Podolski scored his
first goal for Inter with a stinging left-footed effort into the top
corner from 20 yards out.
The Nerazzurri have been able to steadily find their form as of late and are currently unbeaten in their past five games, losing only twice in their last eleven Serie A games. This leaves them in eighth place in the league table with 48 points. Roberto Mancini’s men are now just three points behind fifth-placed Sampdoria and a shot at the Europa League qualifiers.
